Who we are
AvaLAN Wireless is a pioneer in the long range wireless Ethernet market. Our products are designed to affordably
enable Ethernet connections in perimeter or remote locations. AvaLAN’s products offer the ideal combination of data
rate, security, interference avoidance, quality-of-service, and ease-of-use that professional installers demand.
What we do
AvaLAN's 900 MHz and 5.8 GHz products utilize narrow bandwidth and maximum FCC-legal power to produce the longest
range wireless Ethernet links on the market today. AvaLAN technology includes built-in frequency intelligence to
provide robust immunity to interference. The 900 MHz radios can penetrate through trees and building walls, and the
5.8 GHz radios can reach distances of 30 miles, even in high-RF-noise environments.
What’s new
AvaLAN released its 900 MHz and 5.8 GHz point-to-multipoint suite of products earlier this year that now supports
hundreds of wireless Ethernet devices site-wide. Our products are an ideal replacement for modest data rate installations
where 802.11 systems are underperforming or failing completely due to insufficient range or excessive interference.
We also offer OEM
modules that are compact, require less than 1.5 watts of power to operate, and are easy to integrate into your own custom
wireless Ethernet solution.
