Rock & Roll Bingo<br />

Are you ready for Rock & Roll Bingo? Tickets are now on<br />

sale for Willowbrook Hospice’s first ever music bingo<br />

night on Friday, <strong>Apr</strong>il 1 from 7pm-late at the Living Well<br />

<strong>Mar</strong>quee on Borough Road in <strong>St</strong> <strong>Helens</strong> (WA10 3RN).<br />

Instead of numbers on your bingo card, there’s a<br />

selection of chart-topping hits from all eras! Listen to<br />

short clips and mark off the song on your bingo card. It’s<br />

fun and you are guaranteed lots of laughter and dancing.<br />

Tickets cost £15 per person, and this will get you 4 games<br />

of music bingo as well as entry into the raffle for a chance<br />

to win some great prizes, including tickets to Haydock<br />

Park, fizz, vouchers and much more.<br />

Dolittle in Rainhill<br />

The latest Junior production for the Rainhill Musical<br />

Theatre Company, Dr Dolittle, will run from 8th-10th<br />

<strong>Apr</strong>il. The musical tells the classic tale of a wacky, but<br />

kind, doctor who can talk to animals.<br />

When Doctor Dolittle attempts to help a seal named<br />

Sophie, he’s wrongly accused of murder and stands trial<br />

before General Bellowes. Once pronounced innocent,<br />

Dolittle is free to continue with his search for the Great<br />

Pink Sea Snail — the oldest, wisest creature on earth.<br />

The production takes place at the Rainhill Village Hall<br />

on Weaver Avenue in Rainhill (L35 4LU). Tickets are<br />

priced at £10, with concessionary tickets priced at<br />

Craft Fair<br />

<strong>St</strong> Peter’s Church in Newton-le-Willows will be hosting<br />

a craft fair on Saturday, <strong>Apr</strong>il 23 and they are on the<br />

lookout for any local crafter or craft business, who might<br />

like to sell their wares.<br />

The event, on Church <strong>St</strong>reet in the village, is always well<br />

attended and is a great opportunity to sell and have a<br />

browse of all the other craft supplies. The fair will run<br />

from 10am-3.30pm.<br />
