Hocus Pocus is a <strong>British</strong> bred Dutch<br />

Warmblood (KWPN) born in 2012.<br />

He is an Anglo European Studbook<br />

(AES) Approved stallion and has<br />

outstanding and proven bloodlines<br />

on both sides of his pedigree. His sire<br />

is the Dutch Warmblood Zambesi,<br />

son of the legendary Heartbreaker<br />

and a Calvaro Z mare. His Damsire<br />

is the Selle Francais Vancouver and<br />

his Granddam brings Silvio 1 and<br />

Concorde into the mix too. Hocus<br />

Pocus has superb conformation and<br />

paces, an athletic and powerful jump,<br />

together with a laid back nature in<br />

the stable and fantastic attitude to<br />

Kung Foo, as he is known at home, is<br />

homebred by Warrior. Warrior is a<br />

son of Tangelo v/d Zuuthoeve x<br />

Heartbreaker, who competed at the<br />

London Olympics and Global Tour<br />

shows, before being sold he won<br />

numerous classes here in the UK with<br />

Louise Pavitt, including Hickstead,<br />

Royal Windsor, HOYS and RIHS.<br />

Kung Foo's dam, Sussex Caretino, is a<br />

1.50m International Grade A, ridden<br />

by Philip Miller and Louise Pavitt.<br />

She is a prolific winner in the UK and<br />

has bred several foals by embryo<br />

transfer,. She is by Caretino Glory,<br />

who himslef is a 1.60m jumper. Great<br />

grand sire, Hamilton III, was also a<br />

Grade A jumping stallion and has<br />

proven to be a super dam sire for us.<br />

Kung Foo has successfully competed<br />

BS in young horses classes including<br />

championship shows at Hickstead,<br />

Pyecombe and Bolesworth showing<br />

great trainability and attitude at<br />

shows. He is a double clear machine<br />

with phenomenal scope and power.<br />

His temperament is fantastic too. He<br />

will continue with young horse classes<br />

in <strong>2022</strong>. He is full brother to Klent<br />

Kick On, half to Klaris Giddy-Up<br />
