Eating Disorder
So is this disease dangerous only for women? No. Such famous men as Zayn Malik, Russel Brand,
Elton John also suffer from the same disease. During their tour for One Direction, Zayn stated
that he started not being able to eat because of the pressure on him; "Sometimes I spent 3 days
without eating anything."
Famous people, children, teenagers, women, men... With what is being imposed today, we are all
candidates for this and similar diseases. The slim and shaped bodies that we see every time we
take our phones into our hands are presented to us as if they should be, and if a person feels a
little inadequate, they are triggered by these visuals, pushed to disorders such as eating disorders.
Although an eating disorder is never something to be underestimated, it is also a disease that is so
difficult to get rid of. People suffering from this disorder already spend a significant part of their
days thinking about the "act of eating", while they experience this period twice as much with the
triggers of social media. This disorder, which can affect all of life, leads to lack of enjoyment of
life, reluctance, fatigue and deep unhappiness, while punishment practices can go all the way to
death.
