Used with LOCAL position and STOP position<br />
for local operations.<br />
LOAD position - Thus position loads the tape<br />
into the vacuum columns, i<br />
turns the LOAD light "on",<br />
and drives the tape in the<br />
reverse direction. The tape<br />
stops at the loadpoint (BOT I<br />
silver marking strip on tape).<br />
The BOT lamp lights at the<br />
loadpoint. The LOAD operation<br />
does not function when<br />
the REWIND-LOCAL-<br />
REMOTE switch i! j in the<br />
REMOTE position . Load<br />
operation will occur only i<br />
when the REWIND-LOCAI<br />
REMOTE switch is in the<br />

UNLOAD position - Turns the UNLOAD light<br />
"on", and stops the tape<br />

Operates in combination with LOCAL operation<br />
of the tape transport. Pressing the RESET push-<br />
button stops tape motion during load point search.<br />
BOT-READY indicators The BOT lightsgo on when the BOT marker strip<br />
is sensed. The READY light goes on when the<br />
REWIND-LOCAL-REMOTE switch is in the<br />
-REMOTE position and the tape is ready for<br />
operation.<br />
