WaterskiingA permit is required for waterskiing insidethe harbour, it can be obtained fromthe Harbour Office or the Poole HarbourCommissioners’ website: www.phc.co.ukCurrent costs are:-Daily £20 Inc. VAT, Weekly £60 Inc. VAT,Annual £195 Inc. VAT. Payment can now bemade online via our website www.phc.co.uk.Harbour Dues are payable in addition oneach boat.The designated water ski area is in theWareham Channel and is approximately 2000metres long and varies in width between 300metres and 600 metres. The area is markedby, yellow buoys . Water skiers are exemptfrom the speed limit when operating withinthis area. Water skiing boats must have aminimum of two people in the boat, one ofwhom acts as a lookout astern. Boats shouldcircuit the area in an anti-clockwise directionand avoid getting too close to each other.0000Expires 31 March 2023Water skiing may take place anywhere outsidethe harbour to seaward of the 6 knots yellowbuoy markers off the beaches. The use ofinflatable towed toys pose a significant hazardto other users within the harbour and indeed tothe person on them should they be thrown intothe water. These inflatables are prohibited fromuse anywhere within the harbour.
