FARMERS MARKETS OPEN
with Fresh Produce, Vegetables, Crafts
More and more,
society has become
food conscious. We
are choosing healthy
produce options and farmfresh
meats. Local farmers
gather together every year from May
through October and participate in farmers markets to sell
their fresh produce, baked goods, plants, and handcrafted
items. Both the Bellaire Farmers Market (open Fridays
8-12 pm) and the Mancelona Farmers Market (open
Thursdays 3-7 pm) have been around for years and
have dedicated farmers that sign up to vend each year.
These farmers spend much time year-round planning,
planting, caring and harvesting their gardens and fields.
Vendors have partnered together to form food hubs at
Mancelona and Bellaire. Now, shoppers may pre-order and
pay for their orders online, and orders will be conveniently
packaged and ready for pick-up on the assigned day. Follow

Market for details on current ordering cycles, pick-up times
and options.
