• Per and Abbi Akvist, PCG Mission to Ethiopia • Summer 2022
•
Dear Friends,
The Bible says in Rom. 8:37, "…in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us!" (NET). We have
experienced many problematic situations in Ethiopia, but we've also seen a lot of victories despite resistance and challenges.
We now have significant
challenges in the Oromo
area, where there is a guerrilla war against the government, and therefore,
the local population is suffering. Several of our church buildings have been
confiscated and now serve as shelters for the guerrillas. Ordinary people
are afraid to go out and gather for meetings. Several farmers are unable to
work in their fields, and many have had their animals stolen to feed the
guerrillas. All of this is, of course, is a great sorrow for us, and the result is
now that many of the churches are not operating. There is even a risk that
much of the work we have put into this area during the last five years will
be jeopardized if we do not do everything to help the leadership team
hold together and remain strong.
On the one hand, we've gone through a pandemic, but then the country was
thrust into an intensive civil war; thankfully, the State of Emergency has
recently been lifted. Supply chain issues and rising food costs are still
abounding in the region. Despite the many political, social, and health
obstacles, we can finally do large evangelistic outreaches again! This picture
is from the city of Ambo and the outreach we held in March. We counted
about 45,000 people in the field during the largest meeting. Many gave their
lives to Christ, and many who lived as backsliders returned to joyous
fellowship with the Lord.
(Photo Left: L-R, Pastor Belay, Evangelist Per and Pastor
Berhano. Photo Right: L-R Evangelist Per and Pastor
Motoma).
We started a fundraising campaign for a motorcycle that
could be used in our church planting ministry. Then we
realized we actually needed two motorcycles and
extended the fundraising time. More people heard about
this need, and we were soon able to buy four
motorcycles! Praise the Lord! Two of the men are based
at the church headquarters in the capital city, and now
they can travel to the west into the hilly and remote
regions where there are 68 churches. Two other men live in a city to the south, which is the gateway to all of eastern
Ethiopia, and they constantly travel throughout the area to plant new churches. So far, they have four new churches and
are working to plant more!
Once again, thank you for your commitment to take the Gospel to the least reached. Your prayers and giving make a big
difference. Please remember us in prayer as we continue to reach the lost with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
With love,
Per & Abbi Akvist
Family Mercy House • Summer 2022
Dear Friends,
It is with overwhelming gratitude that I write this letter. This year's students have now graduated, and both Per and I had the opportunity
to participate in the ceremony. On March 30th, these nine enthusiastic women graduated, and they will now start their new life and use
what they learned during this training. Thank you for helping us fight poverty and making a difference in the lives of young women and
children, one family at a time.
In a formal ceremony, everyone came forward to receive their diploma. Per
and I had the privilege of bestowing this directly into their hands while our
administrator, Hana, read their names. For some of them, this is the first time
they've had their name printed on an official document. What a joy it was to
participate in this ceremony and experience the gratitude from each of the
women. All instructors were dressed in traditional Ethiopian clothing and
were in high spirits. They were overflowing with pride toward their students,
which could not be mistaken. All our instructors have started with us
as students. It gives us double joy!!!
As a sign of our appreciation and love for them, I gave them a rose, and in my
speech, I encouraged them to nurture their new knowledge as one nurtures
a delicate and beautiful
flower. Now we send them
out into the world, knowing
they will be able to manage
on their own. Some have already found a job, and we hope that everyone will be able to
take care of themselves through this new knowledge gained during their training. The
graduates also received a financial support grant to assist with a new business venture.
For those who needed
additional assistance, we also
provided the equipment to be
able to start the business, such as a fryer.
We are now planning a summer youth camp again. Many teenagers never get
out of the capital city and would definitely never experience any sort of leisure
activities in nature. We will take 80 young people to the camp, divided into two
groups for two nights
each. Group 1: 14–16
years and Group 2: 17– 19 years. Please help us make camp a reality for these
young people. The cost for each child is $65 USD, but that is nearly equivalent
to an entire month's salary for a poor family in Ethiopia. Therefore, the cost is
far beyond what most could afford. We are asking our financial partners to
consider making an extra donation to send a kid to summer camp. Would you
like to send one or two of these young people to the camp?
With much love and appreciation,
Abbi and the team
Dear Friends in the Gospel
Greetings from Macedonia! Thank you to all of you for the partnership and the support of God's work
in Macedonia. Even though we live in challenging and strange times, we still enjoy God's mercy. God is
good to us, and we can see His guidance in many things. Below are some prayer needs.
1. Each year in the month of March, we have the biggest evangelism events for women. This is because
on March 8th, it’s Women’s day in Macedonia, and many churches use this day to reach as many
people as possible.
This year By the Grace of God, we organized several big evangelism events again. Our Christian
women’s ministry “Ana” organized three separate events in three different cities for women who
suffered a loss. The title was "Hope in a time of sorrow." More than 300 women came. Most of them
were not believers. The next step is to organize small groups for support and continue to work with
them. Please pray for salvation and spiritual fruits for these souls.
2. Some of the Alpha courses organized are finishing now with the Alpha weekend, and the people
who attended were given diplomas. Part of the participants are willing to continue with another Bible
course. Pray for all these people, to receive Christ and to continue coming to church.
3. Continue to pray for the group of young people that spontaneously began to gather in our church in
the town of Kocani. We are so happy for them, and we pray that God will make out of them a new
generation of church leaders and servants.
4. Also, in the town of Kocani (where we mentioned the young people previously), our local church has
gathered in a rented place for many years. Now the owners want to sell the property. They first
offered the place to us. Please pray for God's provision.
5. We have a group of refugees from Ukraine (3 mothers with 12 children) that are settled in a house in
Skopje. Please pray for them and God's provision for their needs.
May God bless you
Dear Friends and Family,
Greetings in Jesus’ Wonderful Name!
Maxim, age 4
Maxim, the small boy wearing a stocking cap in the 3/14/94 photo I took (left), was briefly
introduced in February 2020’s World magazine as the 4-year-old son of Belarussian hosts, “who
sang so intensely beautiful in their home.” Maxim, now married with children, shares photos
of his family and his testimony of the Lord’s call to ministry (below). Only God knows what the
world situation will be by the time you are reading this newsletter, and we ask your prayers for
this faithful family—for God’s continued grace, blessings and anointing to send forth His Word!
Paternal grandparents:
with (his) parents:
Pastor Viktor and Natasha
Lapatin
Maxim with his wife, Lyuba,
and their 3 children:
Veronica, David and Victoria
I, Maxim Lapatin, was born and raised in a
Christian environment. My parents have also
been believers since childhood. On my dad's
side, I was a 5th generation believer and my
children are the 6th generation who serve the
Lord. My grandfather worked hard for the Lord
and as a minister in the church. My dad was also
involved in the work of the church as a child.
When my father worked, his Lord called him to
work with the Jews, and I was also working with
my father from early childhood.
There is now a church in which we all work. At an early age, I worked with young people. At the age of 16, I
made a covenant with God and went to study at a Bible college. From the age of 18 I went to study at a
theological seminary. There I studied for 4 years, graduated and received a bachelor's degree in theology. Then
I entered the seminary for a Master of Divinity degree and successfully graduated. At the age of 20 I got married,
and God blessed us with 3 children. On 5/15/2016 I was ordained a deacon in the church. On the basis of our
church, a Bible school for teenagers was created which works to this day. I am responsible for this Bible school.
On 12/19/2021, I was ordained a presbyter, and I am the deputy pastor. I thank the Lord for choosing me to be
his servant and worker in the Lord's work.
Hammond Bill
Representative to Romania
Field
As we all know the area surrounding Romania is very volatile. I am in consistent contact
with our church representatives regarding the political as well as spiritual needs there.
Russia is rumored to try to attack Moldova, which is a small country between Romania
and Ukraine. I continue to raise funds to go there A.S.A.P. While our 200 churches are
safe even as we do what we can to assist the Ukrainian refugees it remains very sketchy.
Please continue to pray for God’s covering on the nations in that region. At this writing
Russia has announced natural gas and oil restrictions on two of Romania’s neighbors.
Romania needs our prayer as it receives most of its energy for heating and fuel from
Russia. We know that God is in control while we live in dangerous time.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Our national women’s director, Hermana Rosa, asked
me to sit on the women’s board. Every two months, we
put on an activity in a different district. In April, our
focus was towards married couples. At the end of the
service, JP prayed a blessing over each couple.
BUILDING PROJECTS
In April, JP was able to purchase the materials to put a roof
on Camino de Santidad in Santa Rosa, Jalapa. Thank you to
Pastor Rhodes and Messenger Church for their giving
towards this project. Thanks to an individual donor, JP was
also able to purchase material to finish the walls of Jehova
Update from Karen Ming
Every continent has felt the presence of Covid, lost people, closed churches, and many lives
have been affected. But our Heavenly Father keeps covering his people and helping them
through the dark times. God is faithful, and we see how our African leaders have kept the
faith and continue to see God show up. Each Bishop has a vision of building new churches
and helping to open new countries in Africa as they go forward in One Mission, One
Movement.
Churches have and are being built. There are two new buildings going up in Kenya. In
Malawi, there have been 16 new buildings and new roofs put on other buildings. New
churches have been planted. Bishop Charles sends me testimonies of healing in his
conferences.
I want to highlight a testimony from Bishop Aime in Burundi. I remember when the Bishop
joined PCG after attending our conference in Kenya. After building a new building in
Bujumbara he is helping build and join two churches in Congo, and one in each of these
countries: Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda. I know in the days ahead we will be getting more
acquainted with these new churches. What a blessing to see our Bishops reaching out to
new countries.
I’ve had a burden to help send Bishops to the Global Conference in Brazil. Praise God, He
has provided funds for airline tickets for six to eight Bishops. Bro. Kincaid is working to help
them with their accommodations. I want to thank my District, Southern California for
making this possible. This will be a great inspiration to our African Bishops and the growth
in Africa.
We will be having a Leadership Conference in Kenya in September, the first since 2018, and
a youth conference in Tanzania. Conference planning is happening now.
Thank you for your support and prayers. This is what keeps us moving forward. Please
consider helping to send pastors and leaders to the conferences in Tanzania and Kenya.
$45.00 will cover their cost to come!
JUNE 2022
UPDATE
In the last month we have been touched by narcos, fraud,
extortion, gang violence and refugees escaping for their
lives. No, we have not been in any danger - but it’s like one
young man stated - this is more exciting than reality TV.
Actually I am asking for prayer for the neighboring
country of El Salvador. Google it and you will see what I
mean. I am not bragging, and I have had enough
excitement of this kind of excitement for a long time. (But
you can’t say a missionary’s life is not exciting!!!)
PRAY FOR TRAVELS
Also pray for Les as he has another full month of
travels coming up. We just returned from a five day
run to the south coast region and Mexico. We may
not stay long in any one place but we certainly get
around.
SUPER CAMP
We were so happy to have the Ahikam kids back here for
Super Camp during Holy Week. They were not allowed to
come last year because of pandemic restrictions. I love to
hear their laughter and happy shouting on our campus
here. Even more I love to hear them singing and praying.
It is my birthday. I always remember that
debilitating stroke that left me paralyzed and
unable to speak. I remember even more the
MANY prayers of God’s people. And I remember
WALKING out of that hospital and TALKING
normally just five days later. You can’t tell me
prayer doesn’t work. THANK YOU FOR
PRAYING!!!! Only eternity will tell how much
you have accomplished on your knees.
CASA VIDA
Casa Vida is the second step for girls leaving
Ahikam. It is to help them get established in life
skills, finish their educations, and really put down
deep roots in Jesus. We need teams to help finish
the construction. We also need monthly support.
Most of all we need your prayer support. Please
keep us in constant prayer for God’s divine
guidance and that the girls will have soft hearts
toward God. We also could use a medical team
here.
For $50 you can sponsor a girl. Enlist to help.
Invest in these girls’ futures. Work, give, pray. We
need it all. Actually they need it all. When giving
put Casa Vida on your offering.

Our Indonesian churches just had their General Convention. It was quite an event. I
was disappointed that I was not able to attend. But lots of my Indonesian friends’ live
streamed the convention so I was able to watch most of it.
This all began with a traditional Opening Ceremony. This included an exhibition of
traditional music and dance.
After this beautiful display of culture, the dignitaries gave their speeches. There were
many dignitaries present from the Department of Religion, several mayors, and other
government officials. Several provincial officials & mayors sent a video greeting.
Global Missions Director Kincaid, Bishop Ming and I were also able to do this. Not
everyone kept their greetings short. This took a while. Speeches are much more
important in Indonesia culture than in American culture.
General Bishop Dr. Wayman Ming Jr.
giving his video greeting.
A Minahassa dance. In the background the men in red are
playing music on a traditional Minahassa musical instrument.
To me, it was very important that our minister have a time of
refreshing and refilling. Some of our pastor work in small villages
that have a lot of witchcraft. Others minister in predominantly
Muslim areas. All of them are facing spiritual warfare. Being a pastor
is hard and draining. What I am trying to say is they all needed this
convention to be a time of refreshing, spiritually. The Praise and
Worship team was phenomenal. The messages were anointed. I
also observed they had a good response. I felt being in a nice hotel
with good services gave attendees this opportunity to get rested and
refreshed.
The most lasting impact of this
convention will be the results
of the election. Good leadership
is needed in moving forward.
Alexander Sasau was appointed
Arrival of the General Director of Christianity. By the way,
that is a very high position in the Indonesian government.
Rows of pastors kneeling. Those behind them are
standing with their hands raised. What a beautiful
time of prayer.
as bishop in October 2021 to finish the term of our deceased bishop Sadrakh
Tuanger. Bishop Sasau was voted in for his own term of 2022-2027. I know he will
make a great bishop to lead GKPMI (PCG in Indonesia).
NEWS FROM THE NUTTS – MAY 2022
Walter and Flora Nutt
Peace to you in the name of the Lord Jesus,
we are so grateful to be alive and serving
the Lord in this day and age. Thank-you for
praying for us! On Thursday, 21 of April,
we were involved in a head-on collision that
totaled our truck. It is a miracle that we are
alive today. Two dogs died in the other
vehicle, but God spared all of the people. If
it were not for your continuous prayers, we
might not be here writing this letter today. I
have my right femur (thigh) broken in 5
places and Flora suffered severe head
trauma with stitches all over her face that
will need cosmetic surgery. Praise the Lord
for you! We normally have the back of the
truck full of teenagers and the inside with
adults when we go to minister in Asuzaqui.
This time nobody went with us.
We were scheduled to itinerate this year but
it will be a lengthy recovery. Please keep us
in your prayers and continue to support the
ministry in Bolivia.
We are very happy to have Sister Ana Ortega back in the classroom.
For the past 2 weeks she has been recovering from gallstone surgery.
This was a very serious operation. Her condition had progressed to a
point where her other organs were starting to shut down. Thank you
to everyone that prayed for her during quick recovery. Also, a big
thank you to World Missions for the financial support.
We now have 30
children enrolled
in school and
they are back in
their classrooms.
One third of our
students are in
need of a sponsor.
El Faro Christian Church
We are so thankful for all the support we
have received over the past 2 years. Now
that the majority of the restrictions have
been lifted, the church is doing very well.
God has brought new families in that have
been saved and baptized. Some of leaders
have returned to the United States, but each
of them has left an important legacy of working
hard, reaching new families, presenting
the plan of salvation and praying for the sick
and needy. During Holy Week we presented
The Passion of Christ and many were saved.
SUMMER 2022
News from the
Philippines!
PRAISE THE LORD! We thank God that things are beginning to open
up in the Philippines with opportunity of having 100% capacity in churches and
other gatherings. Also, the lifting of the quarantine requirements was a huge
blessing for those of us who travel.
MINDANAO BIBLE COLLEGE! The work of the Lord in the Philippines
is continuing to grow. As a result of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the
prices of fuel and building materials have increased dramatically. The Chapel
and Multi-purpose building at Mindanao Bible College has started construction.
The challenge is that the cost of the project has increased about 30%. This new
structure will not only house a local church and college chapel, but
will also be big enough to have larger functions such as camp
meetings, conventions, conferences, etc. Please help us pray
concerning the financial needs of this huge project. “Nothing is
impossible with our God.”
WE BELIEVE! We still believe that the Lord is going to open
more doors for church planting in the Philippines. The pandemic
and threats of war are not going to stop the work of God. Help us
pray that we will be able to assist the Filipinos as we all follow God’s
direction and plan. Our Filipino brethren have a mind to work. God
has blessed their efforts in the past and will bless their efforts in the
future. Please help us pray!
THANK YOU! Because of the faithful giving of our Mission Partners, the
Parkmans, along with our Filipino National Bishop Felix Labang will be attending
the PCG Global Missions Conference in Manaus Brazil. Thank you for your
faithfulness in prayers and financial support. God bless you. You are making a
difference!
Grace and peace from Brazil. Over the last several months
we have been focusing our attention on preparing our hearts for
Easter. It was an intense time as the Lord began speaking
difficult but necessary things as we walked through this
transitional season of repentance to the finishing work of the
cross, and then our Lord’s resurrection. Easter Sunday was a
wonderful celebration with a presentation by the children from
Casa dos Filhos. We were able to rent a bus to bring them
and their families to the church to participate in Easter
Sunday services. What a wonderful time of celebration!
The church in Manaus continues working on the remodel of
the building. There have been big changes over the last
couple of months. We are all very excited to be in this new
neighborhood, not far from the old building, but closer to
homes and families.
Casa dos Filhos recently received a grant from the State of
Amazonas for a technology lab to serve students who have
aged out of the after-school program, as well as classes for
adults. These classes will provide computer training with the
purpose of providing job skills. We are so excited that the
space is finally finished and we should be receiving our first
students in the near future.
Updates from the Ivory Coast
Hello All!
We are doing well. We had a couple of important doctor appointments in April to
determine if Jada could be my kidney donor. This will give us a clear idea of what is
next. Prayers appreciated.
Right now, we are down to four solid churches, but we are opening several stations
(typically house churches). Unfortunately, we had to let some of the churches go
because they were not aligned with our ministry vision, and some pastors were
posing some acts that we don’t condone.
The church in Yamoussoukro (which celebrated its 15th-anniversary last year) is very
active and has sent a couple of members out to other cities to start some
evangelism posts. The pastor’s wife was also in France last year to start a house
church there. So, we may double the number of churches soon. One of our house
churches in Abidjan just acquired a building they are renovating for their services.
We helped them get it with a personal contribution. They are paying back monthly,
and we are using that money to pay for the land for another church in Abidjan,
which is occupying it illegally.
We have added a new church in the middle of the country. The young Pastor
(Ezechias) is one of my protégés, and he is the son of one of our original pastors
when we opened the field. We have helped financially with the chairs for the church,
and they contributed by turning an old bar unto the church building. We are excited
because we have another young minister (protégé of Pastor Roger) who is starting a
station on the country's west coast. Thank you for your prayers and support!
Dear Partners, Pastors and churches: Summer 2022
Greetings from India!
PENTECOSTAL CHURCH OF GOD INDIA
P.O.BOX 27, PUNALUR, KERALA, INDIA-691305. Phone-+917403153351
We are so thrilled for the freedom we have in Christ to celebrate the salvation through Christ which takes us straight
to heaven to be with the Lord. Though we face little struggle here and there in this heathen nation, our Lord is with
us with His mighty power and angels for our protection. Our workers in Nepal have faced persecution as they went
to baptize few converts in a nearby river. Please continue to pray for us as evangelization in this heathen nation is
always very challenging and sometimes life threatening. In pictures, our ministers in different parts of India get
together for one day conference and training.
CHURCH PLANTING IN RURAL AREAS:- Our recent graduates from our Bible Colleges are working in many rural
areas and engaged in distributing tracts and Bible copies. Their efforts are very encouraging and everyday many
souls come to Christ through their outreach. Our graduates are very dedicated and equipped with thorough knowledge
and revelations from the Word. There are 35 young people are currently enrolled in our two Bible Colleges. Your
prayers and support enable us to train more young men and women to be in the fore front in our fight against devil.
CONSTRUCTION OF CHURCH BUILDING:- Currently two church building are under
construc-tion. We are so grateful to Rev. Mike Hall and Meeker Living Waters PCG, OK. for
their prayers and support for the repairs and renovation of this church.
ORPHANAGE: Children at the orphanages are enjoying their
month long summer vacation. They will be back by June 1st
to continue their studies. They would like to have school uniforms,
casual clothes, school bags and other necessities.
We have 11 new additions to the orphanage mostly from hindu
backgrounds. They are either rejected by their own parents
or being cared for by aged grand parents. We take this task
as a great privilege to teach them about the Lord which will
make them genuine Christians in future. Our investment in
these children will be a great asset to the Kingdom of God.
FREE NURSING/RETIREMENT HOME:- India has nearly 120 million elderly
people with various physical, mental, social, economic, and spiritual problems.
Most of the elderly people are abandoned by their own families by street side
temple premises and they are being considered as good for nothing people. But
we have taken a big step to help these abandoned elderly people with lots of
ailments and problems. We are getting closer to the completion of this free
retirement center. 11 bathrooms, 18 bedrooms,with 2 living rooms in 7500 sq.ft
building. Steel stairs and kitchen work left and remaining work will cost
$12,000.00. THANK YOU so much for your prayers and support in this project.
Dear friends, please pray for us and help us to complete the projects
mentioned above. We are so much thankful for your involvement in this
ministry. Please send your prayerful support to our missions office designated
to A/c. 3705 India. May the Lord bless you.
Yours in Christ, Thomas SK, Missionary to India.
Mission Trip to Mescalero
I only wish that I could express all that my heart has to say about our
recent mission trip to help build a Native American church in Mescalero,
New Mexico. Nine years ago, a steel school building was donated,
disassembled, and moved to Calvary Victory Center’s property. Since then,
nearly half of the reconstruction of the building has been made possible by
a faithful group of people who have followed the vision of former Director
Petty and the late Pastor Spitty. On this trip, we were blessed to join the
team in their work. By God’s design, each person brought a necessary skill
to the table that enabled us to accomplish far more than expected. It
almost felt miraculous that we were able to work together so efficiently to
complete this building project by fully enclosing the building’s walls and
installing the roof in only one week.
Our team went to bless the heart of a church in need, but it was the heart
of the team that was forever marked during this powerful week. God
orchestrated the entire trip by bringing people together from all over the
U.S., not only to accomplish this church’s vision but also to impact each
others’ lives. Along the way, the members of this team encountered their
own personal transformations, and praise God, one team member
accepted Jesus as his Savior! Hearts and lives were changed, fears were
conquered, and people were set free. We are grateful that Messenger
Church had this opportunity to help build the kingdom of God. Thank you
to Director Alvarez for your faithfulness to Native American ministries.
Glory be to God!
SAKE PASE’ (translated What’s Up!)
From the beautiful people of Haiti!
Our focus these last few months has been dealing with the effects of the August 14 th , 2021 massive 7.2 earthquake
that shook the southern part of the country. More than 136,800 buildings collapsed, 12,200 + were injured, over 2,400
died. And the UN is saying that 500,000 children are now homeless in the aftermath. Several of our church buildings
have been collapsed or heavily damaged. We have Pastors that lost everything and over 60 church families that are
currently homeless.
When you factor in the political violence from the last 3 years, no functional government due to the Presidential
assassination last year, gang activity across the island, even the most powerful aid groups such as the Red Cross
have had difficulty bringing relief to the region. It took us three attempts to be able to reach the most heavily affected
region.
In March, we were able to finally get a charter flight seat to the Cayes area. We
visited 7 church properties and met with about 20 Pastors. At Simone, they were
holding an all-day youth event. I was able to spend over an hour with a number of
Pastors and have lunch with them. We were even able to bring a new church into
fellowship! In the midst of great unrest in the country, the church is still growing.
We have 10 new churches in the last 3 years. And at every stop the number one
concern was not for buildings or homes but materials and guidance on
discipleship and doctrine to strengthen the church membership.
Keep Bishop Raynald Bien Aime, Bishop Abraham Cerventes, Leslie Innocent and the rest of our team in Haiti in daily
prayer as they labor under intense circumstances. And we thank you for prayer as we continue to travel the USA
sharing about Haiti and all the wonderous work God is doing among HIS people.
We delivered 10 four person tents
to the church in Miragoane.
Pastor Vano and the congregation
were very thankful!
Refugee camps have sprung up in open areas
MISSION IN PERU
Hello from the Yursik’s!
As we sit here writing this newsletter we just can't help but to feel extremely grateful for each and every one of
you. Through the years many of you have been so faithful in your giving and your commitment to us as we build
an entire ministry from the ground up. This is no easy task and there is still a lot left to do but where we are today
isn't possible without you. We feel that it is important to tell you that you are appreciated and we thank you for
every sacrifice you have made.
Over the past few months, we have seen a lot of growth and things come together that we have been waiting for.
Since January we have been working with local High Schools in Kern County CA. The reason is that God has been
showing us this huge need to evangelize the next generation that has never heard of Jesus nor never
encountered his love. As we worked with these Christian clubs, I would walk the campus prior to my meeting and
would chat with students. You would be perplexed by the amount that have absolutely no idea who Jesus is! I
mean this is the United States and there are people that only see Jesus as a Santa Clause type being, “a complete
myth”. For the sake of page space, at a high school we preached the gospel, and saw over 300+ students attend
and within them saw many salvations! This harvest is ripe, and we want to be there to work the grounds!
As you obviously know our main ministry is Peru & the Amazon Rainforest. God showed us a vision for the
ministry recently that just made sense. If you’ve ever talked with us you will know several things about us, we go
low & slow and wait for the Lord's divine direction (everything works out better that way). As we make many trips
to Peru staying extended periods of time while we are in the U.S. we are going to continue growing and
expanding this work on High School Campuses eventually building a leadership team to help with the
expansion. Every week we will be evangelizing and teaching students subjects to bring revelation and growth
into their walk. At the end of each year we will offer these students the opportunity to attend Antioch School of
Ministry, where they will be able to attend college level courses in biblical studies as well as an opportunity to
participate in a missions trip.
Peru has been great! There is major progress
within Pastor Wilder and the tribe that can
only
be God. They are building up new homes for
themselves, attending services twice a week
and having many “God dreams”. This is a
completely different tribe! Pastor Wilder is
enrolling into Bible College July 4th, 2022
and
it is a 6 month per year for 3 years course. We
are excited to see where he will be by the end
of this year. Please continue to pray for the
ministry as we are praying for more kingdom
investors to partner with the vision and reach
the “Amazon Bride”.
PCG Global Disaster Relief
PCG Global Disaster Relief is very active across the world helping
victims of disaster. We are engaged in the Ukrainian war relief
efforts, sending in a variety of aide, transporting refugees, and
involved in many other war relief efforts. We are in the planning
stage of rebuilding churches in Haiti. This has been a slow
process but it looks like we can now begin to move forward.
Praise the Lord! Stateside we have been able to respond to the
needs of storm victims with needed aid. The PCG has responded
tremendously across the world during disastrous times and
together we are really making a difference. Thank you for your
Native American Ministries
In 1975, Billy Graham prophetically declared to Native American leaders,
“You are a sleeping giant …. you may become a spiritual superpower in
this country that could change not only America, but the world.” I
believe that Native Ministries of the Pentecostal Church of God because of
PCG love and support are positioned in these last days to fulfill their spiritual
destiny as spiritual superpowers. Greg Miller, director of the documentary
Awakened, said “The First Americans are now awake and stepping into
their spiritual destiny, a destiny that holds the keys to revival and
America’s future in its hands!” Native American Ministries have been
strategically positioned by God to reach Every Tribe, Tongue and Nation.
When I was appointed NAM director, we had 8 mission sites that were
vacant and needed pastors. Today 7 of the 8 positions have been filled. Two
of these sites are Wasilla Alaska and Delta Junction Alaska. Both sites are in
need of extensive work. Any support that you are able to assist with would
be greatly appreciated. God is doing great things in Native Ministries. Native
American Ministries have been strategically positioned by God to reach
Every Tribe, Tongue, and Nation. Thank you for your prayers, love and
continued support.
