First, and principally, I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God, and my body to the earth, to be<br />

decently buried at the discretion of my executors hereinafter named; and my Will is, that all my just debts and<br />

funeral expenses shall be paid out of my estate, as soon after my decease as shall be found convenient.<br />

Second. I give, devise and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth N. Bump, the West half (½) of the farm where I<br />

now reside a description of which said farm is as follows: Eighty (80) acres off of the West end of the North West<br />

quarter (¼) of section No. Twenty-Eight (28). Also, Thirty and 1/3 (30 1/3) acres off of the West end of the<br />

Southwest Quarter (¼) of section No. Twenty One (21), both said tracts of land lying and being in Township<br />

Seven (7) North, Range Four (4) East of the Fourth Principal Meridian, in the County of Fulton and State of<br />

Illinois, to have and to hold during and for her natural lifetime.<br />

Third. I give, devise and bequeath to Zilpha Ann Bump, Barnard J. Bump, and Heaman C. Bump, the East<br />

half (½) of the above described premises, jointly and equally, to have and to hold the same to them and their heirs<br />

forever.<br />

Fourth. I give, devise, and bequeath to Rosa Estella Saunders, Mary Lilly Saunders, N. C. Bump and U. O.<br />

Bump, all the premises herein before devised to my said wife Elizabeth N. Bump after the death of my said wife,<br />

to have and to hold the same, jointly and equally, to them and their heirs forever, without impairing or interfering<br />

with the life estate of my said wife, herein before devised.<br />

Fifth. I give, devise and bequeath to my said wife Elizabeth N. Bump and to my daughter Zilpha Bump,<br />

jointly, my [phaeston] and harness, and one (1) [span] of horses, named [Herr] and Queen, and four milk cows.<br />

Sixth. It is my will and I hereby direct my hereinafter name executors to collect all my notes and accounts<br />

and convert all my personal property, not herein before disposed of, into money, and divide the same equally,<br />

between the said Elizabeth N. Bump, Zilpha Bump, Barnard J. Bump, Heaman C. Bump, Rosa Estella Saunders,<br />

Mary Lilly Saunders, N. C. Bump and U. O. Bump, so that they may equally and alike.<br />

wife and her and my said children, as herein before named in equal portions, to them and their heirs and assigns<br />

forever, share and share alike, as tenants in common.<br />

And Lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint Barnard J. Bump and Stephen D. Saunders Executors of my<br />

last Will and Testament, and I desire that my executors herein before named shall not be required to give bond for<br />

the performance of the duties of that office. Further, it is my will and desire that the aforegoing devises of this will<br />

shall operate upon and pass all real estate hereafter acquired and owned by me at the time of my death, and shall<br />

take effect as if made on the last day of my life; hereby revoking and annulling all former wills by me hereto fore<br />

made, ratifying and confirming this and none other to be my last Will and Testament.<br />

In Testimony Whereof, I have set my hand and seal to this, my last Will and Testament, at my home this<br />

22nd day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety nine.<br />
