TIMINGS OF THE SCHOOL DAY
The school day starts with Form
Time. You will meet with your
Form Tutor in the morning who
will register you and ensure you
are prepared for the day ahead.
You then have two lessons before a 25-minute
break where you might like to rest and/or eat. You
will then have two more lessons before lunch. After
lunch, there is one final lesson before any CCAs
that you have signed up for. You may arrive at the
school site from 8am onwards and gather in the
Red Dot Restaurant only. The use of the field, sports
hall or play equipment is not allowed at this time.
A typical day looks like this:

allocated a locker. You need
to bring in your own padlock,
we suggest using one with a
combination rather than a key.
You should only use the locker
assigned to you and not allow
anyone else to use your locker.
You will be able to access your
locker at the following times:
Before school - 8.00am - 8.25am
Break time - 10.45am - 11.10am
Lunchtime - 1.10pm – 2.00pm
After school - 3.00pm

BREAK TIME AND LUNCH
Break time is 10.45am - 11.10am
GETTING TO SCHOOL
We offer a school bus service
for all students. We do, however,
know that many students make
their own way to and from school.
These are the buses and MRTs that
you can take to get to school:
We are fortunate to live in a safe environment, but it
is always useful to be cautious. If you are travelling
to school by public transportation it is a good idea
to make sure that you have contact information of
all adults in your household written down, as well
as on a mobile device. A parent’s business card put
in one of the compartments of your school bag
is a simple solution. If you have an EZ-link card,
make sure that your parents have noted the CAN
number that is printed on the back of the card.
You are an ambassador for Dover Court when
you are in your uniform outside of school. Please
remember to always be polite and show how wellbehaved
our students are. You must wear your school
uniform properly whilst out of school as well.
Lunch time is 1.10pm - 2.00pm and is split into
eating times and social times as per below:

The Red Dot Restaurant will be open during both break time and
lunch time for students who wish to purchase food and drinks.
You can pay with an EZ Link card that can be purchased at
MRT stations or 7Eleven. Your parents can also pre-order
lunch for you from our catering company, Mycellium.
