‘Xi Xiang Ji’ bowl, Kangxi six
character mark and of the
period (1662-1722), the exterior
painted with four scenes from
the Xi Xiang Ji (Romance of the
Western Chamber), below a
diaper border, the interior with
boys by a garden wall, the border
with a band of a ‘thousand wan’.
