‘Xi Xiang Ji’ bowl, Kangxi six<br />

character mark and of the<br />

period (1662-1722), the exterior<br />

painted with four scenes from<br />

the Xi Xiang Ji (Romance of the<br />

diaper border, the interior with<br />

boys by a garden wall, the border<br />

with a band of a ‘thousand wan’.<br />

keywork ground between blue,<br />

floral, celadon and brown bands,<br />

seal script mark ‘Da Ming Xuande<br />
