Student Finance & Financial Sup<br />
Your course may be FREE *<br />
If you are in receipt of an income-based benefit or in employment and are earning<br />
less than £17,374.50 (£18,525 if you reside in Liverpool City Region Combined<br />
Authority) per year, your course may be FREE! *<br />
You also may be eligible for fee remission * if you meet a specific funding criteria or are in receipt<br />
of the benefits listed below:<br />
• You are aged 19-23 and do not already have a full level 2<br />
qualification<br />
• You are aged 19+ and studying for your first full level 3<br />
qualification or you are in receipt of an eligible benefit or<br />
your income is below the national living wage (£18,525)<br />
(National Skills Fund - Level 3 Skills Guarantee)<br />
• If you live in Liverpool City Region Combined Authority<br />
(LCRCA) and wish to study a level 1 or level 2 course, your<br />
course may be FREE *<br />
• ACL courses are also FREE * if you are in employment and<br />
earn less than the national living wage (£18,525) or in<br />
receipt of an eligible benefit.<br />
Further Education Bursary<br />
You may be able to access a wide range of finance and funding support<br />
to help you during your time at college.<br />

If you are aged 19 or over and either your household income is below £32,000 * , or you currently live with parents who<br />
support you whilst you are in education, you may be eligible to receive support from the college bursary fund.<br />
*This threshold is increased by £1000 per child in a household of 4 or more (maximum 6 children).<br />
The further education bursary fund could support you with the cost of:<br />
• Childcare<br />
(If you are aged under 20 at the<br />
start of your course you must<br />
apply directly to Care to Learn)<br />
• Kit uniform or equipment<br />
• DBS costs<br />
• Travel costs<br />
(including contribution towards<br />
petrol costs or a bus pass)<br />
• Support with costs of getting<br />
to university interviews<br />
• Educational visits<br />
(up to a maximum of £400 per<br />
student)<br />
• Contribution towards tuition<br />
fees you may have to pay.<br />
