WOMEN’S MINISTRY PLANNING LUNCHEON<br />
There will be a Women’s Ministry luncheon on Wednesday, <strong>July</strong> 27, from 11:30 am - 1<br />
pm in Ritts Chapel of the Downtown Campus. This will be a planning luncheon for<br />
2022/2023 events. If you are interested in getting connected or want to help plan the<br />

MERRY METHODISTS MEET (3M’S)<br />
The upcoming 3M’s meeting will be held on Thursday, <strong>July</strong> 21 at noon in the Lower<br />
Fellowship Hall of the Downtown Campus. Martha Mine will share how to make coffee<br />

WE GET TO BE THIS<br />
Today’s scripture: Acts <strong>17</strong>:22-28<br />
As Christians, we get to be the Church, the h<strong>and</strong>s <strong>and</strong> feet of Jesus. God does<br />
not need to use us, yet desires <strong>and</strong> chooses to use us for the purposes of his Kingdom.<br />
The great news is that God does not expect us to perform spiritual transactions<br />
so that we are considered “good enough” in his eyes. God wants us to<br />
know him first <strong>and</strong> foremost, <strong>and</strong> to be transformed by the Holy Spirit to be sent to<br />
serve his Kingdom mission. What better news is that?<br />
