Programme on Turas<br />
The National Trauma Training Program has a new resource, a 4th module for<br />
Trauma Skilled Practice on understanding the use of substances to cope with the<br />
impact of trauma. These eLearning courses are easy to access, you just need to<br />
sign up for an account on Turas and are available to any third sector organisations<br />
including staff, board members and volunteers.<br />
Developing Trauma Skilled Practice Modules:<br />
1. Understanding the impact of trauma and responding in a trauma-informed way<br />
2. Trauma in children and young people<br />
3. Understanding the impact on mental health and evidence-based pathways to<br />
recovery<br />
4. Understanding the use of substances to cope with the impact of trauma<br />

There is new Trauma Informed Practice training and information on ALDO here.<br />
The Aberdeenshire’s Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACES) Position Statement for<br />
June 20<strong>22</strong> is available to download on the GIRFEC website here.<br />
All Third Sector Organisations can access these trainings via Turas and ALDO.
