It appliedacross the country withthe exception of thefrancophone province ofQuebec which operatesits own immigrationsystem.By mid-July, 51,392immigrants gained theirpermanent residency toCanada under thispathway. In itsImmigration Levels Planfor 2022 to 2024, Canadahad targeted 40,000 newpermanent residentsunder federal economicpublic policies for this year,which includes the TR-to-PR pathway, with a rangeof 30,000 to 48,000 newpermanent residents. Ithas already surpassedthat target.
