WILL TOUCH ME NOT<br />
WALSH’S WISDOM<br />
The passing years will touch me not,<br />
I am forever young,<br />
Calendars always marked my path,<br />
From where my spring was sprung,<br />
Untouched by time, I am with you,<br />
And what I’ll always be,<br />
As one with you forever, dear,<br />
When we were young <strong>and</strong> free.<br />
Those passing years have touched me deep,<br />
So, I am rich in thought,<br />
Of yesteryear <strong>and</strong> friendships,<br />
Such wealth for me was brought.<br />
I passed through life knew love <strong>and</strong> strife,<br />
And spirit blithe would flee,<br />
Yet gave me wealth by lessons,<br />
For life alone is free.<br />
