Jasmine Homecare Services
Caring for people in their homes
We are a long established care company providing care
in Cranbrook, Maidstone and surrounding areas.
We have celebrated our 10 year anniversary in December 2021.
Due to continuous expansion of our clientele we are looking to
recruit suitable people to join our fabulous team of carers. If you
are caring, enthusiastic and a good time keeper we would like to
hear from you. Clear DBS and excellent references required.
In return for high quality work we pay very competitive hourly
rates, ranging from £10.00 to £13.00 per hour, Monday to Friday,
hours to suit you, anything from 10 hours per week to full time
hours. If working on your day off there is a £30 per day bonus. Our
full time carers are paid in between £500 to £800 per week.
We appreciate you working time away from home, that is why our
care staff are paid from the first to their last call on their rota (not per
call as most companies pay but full payment as mentioned above).
We are facilitating further education in Health and Social Care
(NVQ2- NVQ5). We are an equal opportunities employer.
• Pension scheme and annual leave paid • Mileage paid
• Loyalty incentives • Uniform provided • Full training given
is a pricy option, created by the scalp guru herself, with
a blend of borage, rosehip and apricot kernel oils.)
• Lean forwards, to boost circulation. Now bunch
up the fingers of each hand and massage the temples,
to release tension. Do this for at least a minute and
try to feel the day’s tensions ebb away. Then place the
pads of the fingers of each hand on the front of your
head, just behind the hairline, placed so that your
little fingers are almost touching over the widow’s
peak. Massage in strong, circular movements. You
should be moving the scalp, not letting your fingers
skim over the surface. Do this for a minute or so.
• Move your fingers back an inch or so, and repeat.
And after another minute, another inch back. Keep
going till you reach the crown, and continue, massaging
the back of the head down to the nape. Use all of
your fingers and thumbs, applying even pressure.
• In all, devote three to five minutes to the head massage
– and in a perfect world, do this two or three times a
week; Madame Greyl insists she has seen vast improvement
in hair health among women who pay attention to
their scalps in this way – and, she explained to me, it
can be very effective for those whose hair is thinning.
If you do suffer from ‘shoulder snow’ – a more
glamorous phrase for dandruff – trichologist Anabel
Kingsley has some advice. “Almost everyone will get
dandruff at some point and it’s very common,” she
reassures. “If you have a flaky or itchy scalp, it’s important
to address it. Scratching can damage scalp tissue and
result in an infuriating ‘itch-scratch’ cycle. Beat dandruff
by shampooing your hair each
morning or evening with an
anti-microbial shampoo,
and follow by applying
a soothing scalp toner.”
The upshot?
Embrace scalp-care,
and your beauty
routine can truly
