through hands-on experience. She was able to build something real with her own hands to spark<br />

her interest. Therefore, we enrolled on the program and Emily really enjoyed this learning journey. <br />

Emily eagerly awaited the delivery of the experiment box each month. When it arrived, she was very<br />

excited to start the lesson immediately.<br />

“My favourite moment in the program is doing the hands-on science experiment with Agent<br />

Sam and Scientist Cody. I completed each experiment step by step with their guidance.<br />

Finally I wrote a conclusion to prove my hypothesis is correct and learned a lot of new things.”<br />

The Project Alpha programme helped Emily to learn a lot of science vocabulary, fundamental<br />

science concepts and scientific knowledge in different areas of science. It enriched her mindset of<br />

discovery and left a deep impression through hands-on science experiments. A list of keywords and<br />

lesson summary were also explained in the games and videos to reinforce her knowledge before<br />

each experiment. This helped her more easily memorize new science vocabulary, and she<br />

completed a workbook to assess her knowledge after each experiment. I believe that this<br />

programme can enhance her skills of asking questions, searching information for knowledge and<br />

analyse the results of each experiment. It is a useful programme to equip her for the future, as well<br />

as complement the school learning at CKY. <br />

To ignite a child's passion in learning, doing science is the best<br />

medium to enable and motivate them. Therefore, we can highly<br />

recommend CKY students to join Project Alpha themselves!<br />

Through the interactive lessons and hands-on experiments,<br />

learning Science is FUN!<br />
