OUR SCHOOLS
"Give a starving man a fish and he will be full for a day,
teach him to fish and he will never go hungry again."
Our 2 schools in Ukraine are still closed and partly destroyed at this
time for the known reasons. In the hope that this war will pass as soon
as possible, we have decided to save a part of the Ukrainian donations
for the reconstruction.
With the help of our new Ambassador in Brazil, Adauto
Paschoal, we are in the process of opening a fifth school in his
home country. Adauto is very well known in his home country for his
humanitarian aid. With the help of Mari and Laiz, Adauto continues to
take care of our 4 existing schools.
Our school at Christel Haus in South Africa is also fully functional again
thanks to our friends Ezra Isaacs and Rolf Losken. With the help of
Alexander Herzberg, we have succeeded in finding a new sponsor who has
agreed to cover the running costs of our school in Cape Town for 12 months.
Our school in Uruguay is also active again and continuity is assured for another year.
HAIR FOR LIFE
As passionate Intercoiffure members and hair specialists, Markus
Kempinger, and his wife, Uli from Augsburg (Germany) have
been active with the website www.hair-for-life.com.
The Kempingers collect human hair braids and donate
them to Education for Life. In the meantime, the campaign
has also been successful worldwide with our Intercoiffure friends.
You can be par of it as well! In your country, collect all cut and dried
human hair braids (at least 30 cm) in the salon and send them to
your Education for Life Ambassador (or to your Section President).
