Whether you’re out for a walk with your dog and<br />
looking for somewhere to enjoy a cosy snack or<br />
want to take your family pet for some festive food<br />
as a treat, here’s our pick of the region’s best dogfriendly<br />

DINE LIKE ROYALTY AT THE CROWN<br />
AT WOODBRIDGE<br />
Take the stress out of Christmas Day dining by hosting<br />
your festive lunch at The Crown at Woodbridge, Suffolk’s<br />
stunning riverside market town. The friendly team, led<br />
by manager Rob with Masterchef finalist Sci Daniels in<br />
the kitchen, is on hand to welcome you and your pet at<br />
specially reserved tables on the big day.<br />
The feast begins with a mimosa cocktail or mocktail and<br />
starters of venison terrine or vegan quince tartlet. After a<br />
refreshing Fishers gin and mint sorbet, the mains include<br />
local bronze turkey wrapped in Parma ham or <strong>Winter</strong><br />
Plot, a tasty veggie treat of carrot, pumpkin, artichoke and<br />
parsnip. Finishing with a rich layered coffee and chocolate<br />

CAFÉ STOP IN CAMBRIDGE<br />
Perfect if you’ve got festive shopping planned, the all-day<br />
restaurant Gastrono-me is inspired by café cultures from<br />
around the world and is hugely dog friendly with a buzzy<br />
atmosphere, making it ideal for a winter pit stop. Festive<br />
menus are two or three courses from £22.95 with fun mains<br />
including Jingle Buns Burger and Christmas Cheeseboard<br />
Mac with dog treats and bowls available for guests with<br />

DOGS WELCOME AT THE BAR<br />
At the Shepherd & Dog, a popular gastro pub located in<br />
Crays Hill in Essex, there are always plenty of four-legged<br />
visitors and Christmas is no exception. Owner Rebecca<br />
Jones Bailey is a huge fan, and dogs and their owners are<br />
welcome in the bar area and the attractive garden with<br />
covered areas.<br />
The Christmas set menu includes starters of leek and potato<br />
soup with rustic bread and duck live parfait with orange<br />
and port marmalade served on brioche toast. Mains include<br />
roast turkey or vegetable wellington and are followed with<br />
