Safety Tips this
holiday season
and every day
This holiday season and throughout
the year, Palo Alto Police Department
recommends safety tips to promote
and enhance public safety. If you see
something suspicious, say something.
This holiday season, bring delivery boxes
inside immediately once delivered.
Generally, stay alert and trust your
instincts. Always lock your house, car
doors, and gates. Consider using motionsensing
lighting and a home alarm
system, and do not give identifying
information to anyone you have not
initiated contact with yourself. Contact
PAPD’s 24-hour dispatch center at (650)
329-2413 if you do see something
suspicious. In an emergency, call 9-1-1.
