AVA awarded 73 groups with funding in Round 1 of the
Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Fund at the start of
the year with just under £712k being shared across localities
in Aberdeenshire. Many thanks to all Aberdeenshire groups that
have applied for Phase 1 of the second round of the fund in the
last couple of months. Applications are currently being assessed
and processed and AVA will be in touch soon to let groups know
if they have been successful. Phase 2 will only open on Monday
9th January 2022 if money remains available after phase 1.

AVA has £639,855.99 for distribution to groups and organisations
across Aberdeenshire in this round with the overarching aim
being to support community-based initiatives that promote
and develop good mental health and wellbeing, mitigate and
protect against the impact of distress and mental ill health within
the adult population.
The applications that have come in for the fund show the
outstanding work that is going on across Aberdeenshire, with
really inspiring projects aimed at tackling isolation and providing
opportunities for people to connect with each other. Thanks to
each and every group for making Aberdeenshire a better place
to live.
