Cost of Heating Crisis|
Warm Spaces open up in
Aberdeenshire
As we head into December and the depths
of winter, and as the temperatures
start to fall, many communities across
Aberdeenshire have been putting their thinking
caps on - what can they do to support people
who are struggling to heat their homes, to help
everyone stay warm and have the opportunity
to connect with others in their community?
Warm Spaces are the answer and they are
beginning to spring up across Aberdeenshire.
Once again, in times of crisis, our voluntary
communities are rising to the challenge
and looking after their most vulnerable. All
sorts of venues are offering warm spaces in
Aberdeenshire such as local libraries, halls,
community centres, churches or voluntary
organsiations. Communities are coming
together to connect people who need it the
most.
