Owner Jazz Brown, who lives in Wingerworth, was a bodybuilder
in his 20s and continues to maintain his fitness.
He started the business from home several years ago and then
saw an opportunity to open his own shop in the Crossways units
on Market Street in the heart of Clay Cross.
Ultimate Supplements caters for men and woman of all ages and
with a full range of requirements. Products include protein
powders, pre-workout supplements, amino acids and fat burners.
Ultimate Supplements also stocks CBD oils and hemp creams to
help with aches and pains.
Shoppers appreciate the friendly know-how the team offers as
well as the choice on the shelves.
“People like to come into the shop to discuss products and pick
up a bit of knowledge,” said Jazz.
However, during the pandemic the Ultimate Supplements
website and eBay shop also came into their own for those who
are not local. Orders come in from across the UK and beyond
thanks to the extensive selection.
Customers will find Jazz’s step-daughter, Shannon, behind the
counter, from Monday to Friday, while Jazz is there on Saturdays.
The business offers free same-day delivery on goods ordered
via its facebook or Instagram pages before 1pm and within a five
miles radius of the shop, with a minimum spend of £35. Future
plans include bigger premises and expansion of the delivery side.
