Wings Ashover Brass Band shown here circa 1935 Book in tune with band history M OST local people will be aware of Ashover Brass Band and heard their talented musicians playing at a variety of events. Now you can read about the band’s fascinating history, dating way back to the mid-19th century, thanks to John Surguy, a long-standing bandsman and local resident.
