Double negative<br />

Two negatives in a sentence, which reverse the<br />

For example: He hasn’t got no skateboard.<br />

Ellipsis<br />

Three full stops used in writing to show that text has<br />

been omitted, indecision or incompleteness of speech<br />

or thought<br />

For example: The children enjoyed reciting the<br />

nursery rhyme, ‘Jack and Jill went<br />
