LE 3000plus Electricity Meter
LE 3000plus Electricity Meter is a state-of-the-art device enabling settlement measurement of traction
power and electricity in power-supply systems as well as direct current electric traction vehicles.
The meter may operate independently or it can be operated with other devices of the CZAT 3000plus
family. Depending on its make, LE 3000plus meter may be used in:
3.3 kV electric locomotives;
3.3 kV electric multiple units (EMUs);
3.3 kV traction substations;
3.3 kV section cabs;
3.3 kV carriage heating switchgears (SUG, SOWAG);
municipal transport 660 V rectifying stations;
660 V tram cars or trolley-buses;
outflows from 3.3 kV or 660 V contact lines to other users (LE 3000plus electricity meter in a pillared
version).
Upon customer's request, it is possible to make non-typical meter versions, suitable for 825 V direct
current (provincial or underground railways) or 1650 V direct current (industrial and mine
railways).
Small interference
It should also be
noted that there is a small
interference of the meter
with locomotive's or EMU's
main circuit, minimizing the
risk of meter's installation
influence on the defect-free
performance of the traction
vehicle.
Sealing the meter
All parts of the meter
are placed in casings
enabling their sealing. Such
a solution ensures safety of
the data recorded and
transmitted by the device. It
is a basic requirement for
individual settlements with
an electricity supplier.
