Good afternoon everyone and welcome back to Eppleton
for our game against Coventry United Women in the Barclays
Women’s Championship.
I would like to wish a warm welcome
to all the Coventry staff, players and any
supporters who have made the trip today.
We’re under no illusion that it’s an
important game and that we must stay
focused, stick to our processes in order
to get a positive result.
The team are chomping at the bit to
get back in front of a good crowd at
Eppleton. We want the crowd to bring
lots of noise and get really get behind the
team like they have in previous games,
and they’ve got us over the line at times.
We want them to be our twelfth
player because I think it really motivates
the team and spurs them on in those
moments where we need them to get
over the line.
The Durham game springs to mind
in the last 10 minutes. We were really
pushing for the win and the crowd played
their part to get that goal as well.
