James Ruse Agricultural<br />
High School is one of four<br />
agricultural high schools in<br />
NSW established in 1959 as a<br />
boys’ high school offering the<br />
opportunity for metropolitan<br />
students to study agriculture<br />
as part of their secondary<br />
school studies.<br />
The prestigious school<br />
became co-educational in<br />
1977 and is the one agricultural<br />
high school that operates<br />
for day students only.<br />
James Ruse Agricultural<br />
High School was recently<br />
named the best ranked<br />
school in western Sydney<br />
for its NAPLAN results, as<br />
well as the number one high<br />
school in NSW for the HSC for<br />
the 27th consecutive year.<br />
