KATHERINE E. BATTEN (MACDOWELL), D.TH,<br />
MA, M.ED, is the founder and dean of <strong>Ocean</strong> <strong>Seminary</strong><br />
<strong>College</strong>, a tuition- and barrier-free interreligious<br />
graduate school. She is the author of several publications<br />
and is an ordained interreligious minister as well<br />
as an ordained Dianic witch. She is cofounder of the<br />
International Association for Transpersonal Ecosophy.<br />
She has spent 8 years working as a clinical therapist<br />
specializing in addictions, trauma, and personality<br />
disorders. In addition to her academic work, Katie<br />
is a published poet and a professional singer/<br />
songwriter and classical composer and an awardwinning<br />
