Titanium plug-and-socket component for protecting deep-sea cables
subseatitanium.com
It relates to the field of deep-sea
operations technology, and
particularly relates to a titanium
plug-and-socket component for
protecting deep-sea cables.

Due to the high pressure in the deep sea, deep sea
equipment generally needs to withstand the high
pressure and its fluctuation. Moreover, multiple
sophisticated detection devices are typically
installed on the deep sea equipment, and these
detection devices need to be connected through
cables to ensure their normal detection and data
transmission.
In actual assembly, different devices need to be
connected through cables. The conventional
connection method is to fix the cables into circular
sleeves on different devices, and finally connect and
fasten the sleeves on each device so that the cables
between devices are protected by the sleeves.
However, under the great pressure fluctuation and
impact at the seabed, it is prone to cause twisting
between the sleeves, resulting in the twisting of
the cables inside the sleeves, causing cable breakage
problems and affecting the smooth progress of
deep sea operations, as well as causing large
operation and maintenance costs.
Zuudee has invented a titanium plug-and-socket component for protecting deep-sea cables. The socket component
includes an upper support and a lower support that correspond to each other with a hollow passage, and
symmetrically arranged docking positioning structures that are identical in structure on the upper and lower supports.
The outer surfaces of the upper and lower supports are covered with positioning and fastening components that are
cooperatively engaged with the docking positioning structures and maintain the relative positioning of the two
supports.
The titanium plug-and-socket component achieves a secure joint between the upper and lower supports by employing
the docking positioning structures and positioning and fastening components, which limit the twisting of the two
supports under the influence of high deep-sea pressure and improve the stability of cable operations during deep-sea
operations. The joint also facilitates the rapid inspection or replacement of cables or components of equipment by
disassembling the upper and lower supports, thereby improving the convenience of subsequent operations and
significantly reducing operating costs.
