Engaging Dynamic

Engaging Dynamic Responsive What is MyEconLab? It is an online homework and tutorial system for economics from Pearson, which has been designed with a single purpose in mind: to help educators create that moment of understanding with their students. It includes highly personalised study paths, responsive learning tools and real-time evaluation and diagnostics. It can be used by students for self-study or integrated into the delivery of a module by lecturers and it now includes Experiments. Experiments are interactive homework assignments which have been developed in conjunction with Charles Holt, co-author of Experimental Economics and preeminent Behavioural Economist. These single and multiplayer ‘games’ can help to bring key economics concepts such as demand and supply, price controls and information asymmetry to life for your students in an engaging, dynamic and responsive fashion. “I’d recommend this technology to anyone. It’s effective, easy to use, diverse and very flexible. MyEconLab tackles the problem of growing student numbers, students’ diverse backgrounds and encourages students to apply their knowledge to a variety of practical areas.” Elizabeth Jones, Lecturer in Economics University of Exeter, UK To learn more, visit www.pearsoned.co.uk/myeconlab 83.9% of students would recommend it to a friend. “[I like the] guided solutions and the ability to do related or similar problems, to practise things that were hard.” Economics student at University of Stirling, Scotland, UK
