It All

Started With

The first Mercedes shipped

to the east was traded by

TGF, 5000 cases of them were

exchanged for a Mercedes.

Oranges

In 1928, the Gargour family founded T. Gargour & Fils (TGF) in the

heart of Jaffa. By 1959, a new chapter in the Gargour family’s journey

had begun; the start of Lecico, a budding tile-making firm.

In 1967, Lecico made a bold move, diversifying into the production

of sanitary products. This would not have been possible without their

close friend Joseph Gorra, who urged them to invest in the business

after their move to Lebanon.

By 1977, Lecico had grown exponentially, but the Gargour family

were far from done and set their sights on a new market - Egypt. The

company flourished in Egypt and soon started reaching new heights

of success.

TGF is still run today by the Gargour family alongside Lecico and

remains the sole distributor of the iconic Mercedes Benz in Lebanon

and Jordan. Over the years, TGF and Lecico have evolved into

renowned global trading companies, leaving an indelible mark

within the industries they operate.

Our Commitment To

Carbon Balanced Print

At Lecico Bathrooms we are committed to sustainable sourcing

and production, this includes minimising the carbon impact of our

brochure production.

Our partnership with Deltor benefits from their ISO14001 certified

printing plant where more than 480 solar panels are utilised for

power generation, our brochures are produced from sustainably

sourced energy. In addition, any remaining emissions from the

production process are calculated and then offset with World Land

Trust (WLT).

The printing plant has balanced the equivalent of 140 tonnes

of CO 2

- This directly helps WLT protect over 24 acres of

threatened forest and habitat.

World Land Trust is an international conservation charity that

protects the world’s most biologically significant and threatened

habitats, acre by acre.

Since its foundation in 1989, World Land Trust has funded partner

organisations around the world to create reserves and give

permanent protection to habitats and wildlife.

To date, World Land Trust has helped secure more than 881,000

acres of threatened habitat across 20 countries. The work of World

Land Trust is actively supported by their passionate and dedicated

patrons.

"We believe in the

The Design Series collection of suites are thoughtfully named and

derived from feminine Arabic names. This deliberate choice pays

homage to the rich cultural heritage and celebration of the timeless

elegance of Arabic tradition.

By naming our suites after Arabic feminine names, we aim to honour

both our roots and the strength, grace, and beauty that these names

represent. Each name carries its own unique story and symbolism,

reflecting the diverse and inspiring qualities of those who they were

named after.

The selection of names is also an invitation to embrace the beauty

of diversity and inclusivity. We believe in the importance of creating

spaces that are welcoming and reflective of Lecico's growing global

community, where individuals from any and all backgrounds can find

representation and a sense of connection.

Furthermore, by naming our suites after Arabic female names, we

hope to inspire a sense of empowerment and recognition. We invite

whether you prefer a curved or straight design.

Zara's straight edge design offers a more

contemporary design, while Layla's curved style can

add a touch of elegance. Identify the appropriate size

for your furniture, consider the available floor area,

and ensure the furniture fits without overwhelming

the space. Our furniture ranges offer 50cm, 60cm,

and 80cm width wall hung furniture units and floor

standing and cloakroom units. Zara, Layla short

projection and Layla ranges offer a variety of colours

to match your chosen style.

Step 2: Storage - Furniture

How much storage space do you need?

Evaluate your storage needs and select a furniture

unit with the desired number of drawers, including

the option for dual basins. Choose between a one

drawer or two drawer unit based on your requirements.

One drawer units are ideal for smaller spaces or when

minimal storage is required, while two drawer units offer

greater storage capacity. For enhanced storage, consider

combining two Zara units together with a worktop. In the

Layla range, a tall unit can also be used for additional

cupboard storage.

All furniture comes with compatible inset vanity

Washbasin choice

When choosing your washbasin, you

have the option of an inset vanity basin

or a freestanding basin to be used with a

worktop.

Furniture unit choice

Bathroom furniture units are available in

three design styles, Zara which is a squared

finish, Layla which offers rounded corners

and Layla short projection, which has a

reduced depth for small bathroom spaces.

Zara can be configured as dual units, where

a long worktop can be placed across the

two units, with two freestanding basins, note

that this cannot be achieved with two inset

vanity basins and Layla short projection

The name is derived from an Arabic

to two of our long term staff members

anodised aluminium. The anodisation forms a protective layer

Guarantee Limitations

All product guarantees cover manufacturing

defects only. Damage caused by accidental

damage, excessive wear and tear or improper

installation will not be covered. All guarantees

cover the replacement of the original product with

the same item if possible. If a product has become

obsolete then an alternative similar product will be

offered. The cost of re-installation is not covered by

the guarantee. Brassware guarantee does not

cover damage covered by calcium deposits.

Bathroom furniture is designed to withstand a wet

environment but does not include immersion or

exposure to leaks. Proof of purchase date is

required for us to honour these guarantees, please

keep your purchase receipts safe. It is not

necessary to register your guarantee with us. All

guarantees are transferable provided you have the

original proof of purchase.

Regular Servicing

Bathroom products include moving parts, joints,

connections and valves which will suffer over time

if they are not serviced regularly. We recommend

that you have your bathroom appliances checked

annually by a competent and certified plumber

and that you consider replacing flushing

mechanisms as soon as there are signs of poor

function or water leakage.

Prices

The prices included within this brochure

supersede all previous publications with goods

being invoiced at prices ruling on date of dispatch.

Prices shown are inclusive of VAT and are subject

to alteration without notice.

Errors & Omissions

In the interest of continuing design and

development and product improvement, Lecico

reserve the right to change colour, designs &

product specifications without prior notice. All

colours/finishes in this brochure are as accurate as

the printing process will allow.

Measurements

All dimensions are in millimetres and are nominal,

they are provided as guidance only.

Wastes

Wastes are not supplied with freestanding taps,

wall mounted taps, bath taps, bath fillers and bath

shower mixers.

Cleaning Instructions

Clean with a soft cloth and avoid surfactants and

heavily perfumed products. Do not use abrasive

scrubbing cleaners or equipment for cleaning.
