Question 8
Please specify the number of male and female employees in your company as well
as the number of female employees in senior managerial positions.
Findings:
10 companies provided the number of male and female employees. In five
companies, male employees constituted 80% or more; whereas in four companies,
male employees ranged from 50% to 71%. Only one company had female employees
constituting the majority at 70%, and it also had the highest female representation at
senior level.
Figure 8 shows that one company had an overwhelming 70% representation of female
at senior level. Two companies were able to build up a critical mass of 41% - 44% of
female staff. There was one company which had no female in senior managerial
positions at all.
