In addition to its long musical tradition, its fascinating architecture and its unsurpassed gastronomy, it's the remarkable vitality and joy of living that makes this country the perfect place for unforgettable musical projects. Along the lines of St. Francis' blessing that "the Lord may give you peace", we are pleased to welcome choirs from all over the world to Perugia and Assisi for VOICES FOR PEACE – and together send a message into the world that has reached even more importance again in current times. Perugia, founded in the 6th century by the Etruscans, is the largest city in Umbria and - with its fascinating Piazza Grande - one of the most beautiful cities in Italy. Assisi – birthplace of Saint Francis – is a truly magical place that draws its particular character from the reminiscence of Saint Francis, the charming countryside that surrounds the town, and the important witnesses of its thousand-year-old culture. With its two-story basilica, Assisi is one of those rare places that can enable the mind of man to fly high. Join us on VOICES FOR PEACE and spread with us the message of peace among peoples.

INTERKULTUR - Costruire ponti per incontrarsi.<br />
30 anni di successi: fondata nel 1988 da Günter Titsch, INTERKULTUR è ormai<br />
consolidata realtà leader a livello mondiale nella realizzazione di concorsi e festival corali<br />
internazionali, conosciuti e apprezzati per i loro elevati standard artistici e organizzativi.<br />
INTERKULTUR è un punto di riferimento e motivo di entusiasmo in costante crescita per<br />
i cori di tutto il mondo.<br />
Da ormai più di un trentennio coristi di tutto il mondo hanno condiviso la festa della<br />
musica corale internazionale ai festival di INTERKULTUR nelle più svariate città nei<br />
diversi continenti. Che si tratti del Palau de la Música a Barcellona o della Brucknerhaus<br />
a Linz o di luoghi da sogno in Sudafrica o in Vietnam: ovunque si svolgano, i nostri festival<br />
garantiscono un alto livello artistico in una cornice di pacifica competizione e di un<br />
sempre emozionante scambio culturale, che i partecipanti ritrovano anche nei concerti<br />
in amicizia e nei canti a cori uniti.<br />
INTERKULTUR unisce le nazioni<br />
Nel 2004 e nel 2006, dopo lunghe trattative, è stato possibile riunire sullo stesso palco<br />
cori di Corea del Nord e del Sud; così come la partecipazione nello steso festival di Paesi<br />
come Iran ed Israele, che esibendosi insieme nei Concerti d’amicizia costituiscono un<br />
significativo bagliore di pace.<br />
Partecipare è l’onore più grande<br />
Il più grande successo di INTERKULTUR è stato quello di portare l'antica idea olimpica<br />
nella comunità corale. Con la prima edizione della Choir Olympics di Linz (Austria), nel<br />
2000 ha avuto inizio un movimento corale che continua oggi fervido in tutto il mondo.<br />
Una serie di successi che sono stati bissati da un’edizione dopo l’altra: Busan nel 2002<br />
(Corea del Sud) e Brema (Germania) nel 2004, dal 2006 con la denominazione di World<br />
Choir Games (WCG) a Xiamen, in Cina, e poi in Austria a Graz nel 2008, in Cina a Shaoxing<br />
nel 2010, a Cincinnati (USA) nel 2012, a Riga, in Lettonia nel 2014 e nel 2016 nella città<br />
olimpica invernale di Sochi, Russia. Il decimo anniversario dei World Choir Games nel<br />
2018 è stato festeggiato a Tshwane (Pretoria, Sudafrica), per la prima volta sul suolo<br />
africano, con più di 300 cori e oltre 16.000 partecipanti.<br />
A causa della pandemia COVID-19 l’undicesima edizione dei World Choir Games<br />
programmata in Belgio nelle città fiamminghe di Anversa e Gent, è stata spostata dal
