This year Ocean Grove Camp Meeting
Association Worship programming saw big
changes. Although Covid-19 caused many of
WORSHIP
these changes, your support allowed the
Rejoice
Camp
Meeting to adjust and even expand our
programming to have online Worship services.
Despite regulations limiting gatherings, the Camp
Meeting found new ways to connect through
music with online streaming. The Boardwalk
MUSIC
Pavilion permitted safe social distancing
Inspire
allowing
Gospel Music Ministries programs and Saturday
Night Worship to take place.
In response to the request of many people who
were interested in experiencing Sunday AM
Worship, online streaming services were
implemented. The Camp Meeting Association was
able to reach followers as far away as California and,
worldwide, from Australia and England who didn't
want to miss the inspiring music and powerful
relevant preaching.
For the first summer since its construction in 1894,
free open seating for Sunday worship in the Great
Auditorium was severely limited by governmental
mandate on group size during the pandemic. Other
OG religious programs and events were also
curtailed or altered in location to abide by regulatory
constraints.
Ocean Grove's first, virtual Choir Festival. The virtual
experience included numerous singers, guest
conductors, OG quartet, brass ensemble and Dr.
Gordon Turk on the organ, all under the direction of
the Camp Meeting's Director of Music Ministries, Dr.
Jason Tramm.
Songs on a Summer Afternoon featuring members of
our quartet and organ recitals with Dr. Gordan Turk
and Guest Organists were maintained, garnering
