Heins re-elected
Beaches Mayor
Councillor Sue Heins has been
re-elected as the Mayor of the
Northern Beaches with Manly
Liberal Councillor Georgia
Ryburn elected Deputy Mayor.
Mayor Heins who represents
the Curl Curl Ward, was first
elected to Council in 2012.
She will hold the position of
Mayor until the next Mayoral
election in September 2024.

Remembrance Day services
Remembrance Day on Saturday 11 November will commemorate
the Armistice at the eleventh hour of the eleventh
day of the eleventh month, marking the end of World
War I; it remembers all those who have suffered or died in
wars and armed conflicts.
Avalon Beach RSL Sub-Branch: Saturday 11 November
from 10.45am – 11.15am; commemoration service at Dunbar
Park followed by members lunch (medals to be worn).
Pittwater RSL Sub-Branch: From 10.20am – 11.30am; commemoration
service at Lower Cenotaph, Pittwater RSL Club.
Dee Why RSL Sub-Branch: From 10.30am; commemoration
