Embracing Culture:<br />
Supporting the Target<br />
Project, Awesome Blossoms<br />
Frances Durocher, an archaeologist<br />
and art historian and graduate of<br />
the University of Michigan, earned<br />
her PhD in World Art and<br />
Museology from the University of<br />
East Anglia, UK. Frances is an AWC<br />
Berlin member and active with the<br />
FAWCO DEIB Team. Over the next<br />
year, Frances is giving a series of<br />
art tours in Berlin where all the<br />
proceeds will go towards the FAWCO<br />
Target Project, Awesome Blossoms.<br />
After years of fieldwork in Australia, Kenya,<br />
and Peru, Frances earned an MA in the Arts<br />
of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas and a<br />
PhD in World Art and Museology. She has<br />
worked for museums in the US, Peru, UK,<br />
and Europe. She teaches and provides<br />
multicultural art classes and archaeological<br />
programs for children and gives art tours in<br />
various Berlin state museums. She was also<br />
part of the 2022-2025 FAWCO Target Project<br />
Selection Committee.<br />
