offered to you is a package within the<br />
meaning of the Package Travel and<br />
Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations<br />
2018.<br />
Therefore, you will benefit from all rights<br />
applying to packages. <strong>Highcliffe</strong> <strong>Coach</strong><br />
<strong>Holidays</strong> will be fully responsible for the proper performance of the package<br />
as a whole.<br />
Additionally, as required by law, <strong>Highcliffe</strong> <strong>Coach</strong> <strong>Holidays</strong> have protection in<br />
place to refund your payments and, where transport is included in the<br />
package, to ensure your repatriation in the event that they become insolvent.<br />
<strong>Highcliffe</strong> <strong>Coach</strong> <strong>Holidays</strong> are members of the Bonded <strong>Coach</strong> Holiday Group,<br />
overseen by The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited. This<br />
is a government approved consumer protection scheme. This ensures that in<br />
relation to the coach package holidays described in this brochure (or website)<br />
that a Bond, which may be called upon in the unlikely event of the members<br />
Insolvency, protects the clients' monies. Clients are recommended to inspect<br />
the current membership certificate at our registered office or alternatively go<br />

to confirm current membership.<br />

We like to set out our Terms & Conditions as clearly as possible so you can<br />
have confidence in your holiday booking with us.<br />
GENERAL INFORMATION & ADVICE<br />
We want you to be as happy as possible from the moment you select your<br />
holiday until you return home. Along with the hotels which we use, we try our<br />
very best to make your holiday as enjoyable as possible. To help you to make<br />
the right selection and for what you can expect from us, please take a<br />
moment to read the following points.<br />
LUGGAGE<br />
Due to space & weight restrictions the maximum<br />
suitcase size per person is 70 x 50 x 23cm. The<br />
maximum luggage weight per person is 20kg.<br />
A small separate holdall can also be taken on<br />
board. These restrictions are placed as a<br />
matter of safety and we thank you for your<br />
assistance.<br />
Porterage is provided at some of the hotels<br />
that we use. If not included it is usually<br />
available if required. This may incur a small<br />
additional charge which will need to be paid by<br />
you directly to the hotel.<br />
SEAT ALLOCATION<br />
Seats are allocated on a first come, first served<br />
basis when you book your holiday with us. If you<br />
have specific needs we would advise you to book as early as possible. We<br />
make every effort to abide by these allocations but on occasion, perhaps<br />
when a substitute coach is required, this may not be possible. We shall have<br />
no liability regarding any changes made.<br />

HOTELS<br />
We offer a range of hotel<br />
accommodation which have different<br />
levels of comfort, facilities and quality.<br />
When selecting your holiday please<br />
ensure that the quality will match your<br />
requirements. This is generally related<br />
to the cost of the holiday but if you have<br />
any specific requirements please talk to<br />
our staff who will be able to help.<br />
Some of our hotels have chosen not to<br />
be members of the RAC/AA and as<br />
such are not star rated. This is not<br />
necessarily an indication of a lower<br />
standard of accommodation.<br />
If you have special requirements please notify us as soon as possible. The<br />
hotel will be notified before your arrival but please remember that rooms are<br />
allocated by the hotels.<br />
Rooms for Single Occupancy are in high demand and very often are sold out.<br />
Some hotels charge a supplement for these rooms, the cost of which is<br />
indicated in this brochure.<br />
We try to indicate all the room and hotel facilities for each hotel within the<br />
information in this brochure but cannot accept liability for any alterations<br />
made by the hotel before our arrival. Sometimes amenities such as swimming<br />
pools and lifts may be out of service whilst entertainment may be curtailed,<br />
altered or cancelled due to hotel number.<br />
Hot drink making facilities are not normally available in Continental hotel<br />
bedrooms but are usually available at the bar/café.<br />
When travelling abroad, you should expect the food to be served in the<br />
national custom and therefore different to British cuisine. For some hotels,<br />
particularly overnight hotels the restaurant will serve a set menu. If, when you<br />
are at the hotel, you require an alternative this is normally available but may<br />
incur an additional cost for you.<br />
These days, many hotels are excellent at providing Special Diets. Please let<br />
us know as soon as possible so they can make preparations early.<br />
Many meals are taken as a group in the restaurants and usually involve<br />
sharing tables with 2 or more other diners in our group.<br />
HOLIDAY ITINERARIES AND SUITABILITY<br />
We pride ourselves on the planning of our holidays to provide an exciting and<br />
enjoyable holiday experience. Many are planned months in advance and may<br />
require adjustment to the itineraries due to changes at destinations or<br />
attractions.<br />
Our itineraries are displayed in the brochure and you should carefully<br />
consider suitability before booking your holiday. You are, of course, quite<br />
welcome not to join any particular excursion during your holiday.<br />
Provided we are informed before departure, we are happy to take manual<br />
walking aids and folding wheelchairs up to 15kg in weight. Unfortunately, we<br />
are not able to carry any electric wheelchairs or scooters, although these are<br />
often available to hire at the destination.<br />
HOLIDAY CANCELLATION<br />
If we have to cancel a holiday this is always done well in advance of your<br />
departure date and a full refund is given.<br />
Due to the contract obligations and financial commitments we have with<br />
hotels if you have to cancel your holiday you will have to pay cancellation<br />
charges. These are based on the following scale depending on how close to<br />
departure we receive your cancellation.<br />
More than 42 days before departure – Deposit only, 41-28 days before<br />
departure – 40%, 27-14 days before departure – 60%, Less than 14 days<br />
before departure – 100%<br />
However, if you do cancel more than 42 days before your departure date we<br />
will transfer your deposit less a £10 per person administration fee to another<br />
holiday currently available.<br />
SPECIAL RULES APPLY TO RIVER CRUISES - CHECK FOR DETAILS<br />
We do advise you to take out travel insurance to cover any of your loses.<br />
LAST MINUTE BARGAINS<br />
If you want to receive last minute bargains, special<br />
offers, extra dates and more please join our<br />
mailing list by either filling in the form on the<br />
website or contacting the office.<br />
SMOKING & ALCOHOL POLICY<br />
We operate a no smoking (including e-cigarettes) and no alcohol on board<br />
policy. We do have regular comfort stops.
