Immediately west of the City of Saint Louis, the City of Clayton combines a lively<br />
downtown with thriving residential neighborhoods. It’s a unique, upscale suburban<br />
community with an inner-ring urban vibe. While land use in Clayton is mostly dedicated to<br />
residential or park use, the city’s Central Business District is home to some of the area’s<br />
priciest office space. Although the residential population is a modest 16,000, the daytime<br />
work population swells to more than 50,000. In addition, Clayton offers extensive retail<br />
