The Iowa Grocery Industry Association (IGIA) is proud to proclaim February 22 as<br />
Supermarket Employee Day in Iowa to recognize supermarket employees, their hard work<br />
and dedication to powering communities across our state.<br />
Supermarket Employee Day is a time for the entire food industry to recognize employees<br />
at every level for the work they do feeding families and enriching lives.<br />
Ways to celebrate<br />
• Promote the day through your in-store promotions,<br />
social media, newsletters and website<br />
• Take time to acknowledge their hard work through<br />
a thank you note or shout out<br />
• Provide breakfast or lunch for employees<br />
• Provide extra paid time off<br />
• Find ongoing opportunities to celebrate employees<br />
