at the Plymouth County Historical
Museum in Le Mars is coming Saturday,
Sept. 23, to honor the two
log cabins on the museum lawn.
Joy Hollow Log Cabin and
Weber Log Cabin will open at 1
p.m. Civil War re-enactor Michael
Peters of Sioux City and formerly
of Merrill will be on the lawn in
front of the Weber Cabin.
Starting at 2 p.m., Diane Nusbaum,
the museum’s new exhibit/programming
coordinator, will
provide live old-time favorites
near the Weber Cabin. She will
sing for a half hour, take a break,
and return about 3 p.m.

general operation and maintenance of the Wastewater
Treatment Facilities, its associated equipment, processes and

experience, and or schooling in operation, troubleshooting,
and repair of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
equipment used in wastewater treatment is a plus. Biology
and Math proficiency are helpful. Ability to pass testing and
obtain a Grade 1 Wastewater Operator License within eighteen
(18) months from date of hire and a Grade II Operator License
within thirty-six (36) months from date of hire. City requires a
valid Iowa driver's license and provide proof of insurance.
Iowa Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is preferred but not
required. Wages, dependent on wastewater certifications
range from $24.33-$35.88/hr, with the ability to advance.
