There was a complete lack of interest

I asked this person what they remembered 

from what I had said. I was not 

surprised by the remark that came back: 

“Nothing seemed important, so I was 

planning what to eat tonight.” 

What? Wow. Nothing seemed important? 

Gee. I was just wasting time trying to 

get across a life-saving mode for rescuing

I was crushed! This needed to be understood 

so there was no mistake with how 

to handle this situation. Then I thought 

about how God must feel at times when 

we let our minds wander instead of listening 

to what is being said. Do you think

He has in our Bible? Do we just tune it all 

out and think of other things that we feel 

is more important than God’s message
