Correctly storing
andloading grease
cartridges
Chemical technical products have alonger shelf life when
they’re properly stored. Cool, dry storage rooms with no
exposure to direct sunlight provideoptimum conditions. It’s
importanttoensurethatgreasecartridgesare always stored
in avertical, upright position. An arrow onthe cartridge
packageindicates theproperdirection forstorage. Observe
thefollowing tipwhenloading thegreasegun to preventair
from entering the grease feeder systems.
TIP Priortoloading the400-gramLubeShuttle
cartridge, briefly press your thumb on the
back-pressure plate to compress the grease
forwardtoexactly theend of thecartridge.The
cartridgecan then be screweddirectlyintothe
grease gun. This prevents anyingress of air. As
ageneral rule, prevent air pockets from forming
