tension clamp terminals.

Mixing-up the connectors for power supply and bus connection can lead to the destruction
of the gateway electronics!
Voltage Supply
The BL20-E-GW-DP provides an integrated power supply an has connectors for:
� field supply (UL , GNDL )
and
� system supply (USYS , GNDSYS )
Fieldbus Connection via Push-in Tension Clamp Terminals
Push-in tension clamp terminals are also used for the gateway’s connection to PROFIBUS-
DP.
The pin assignment for the tension clamp terminals is as follows:.

B receive-/transmit data -P
A receive-/transmit data -N
SHLD shield/ functional earth
Note
The shielding of the field bus cable is established directly on the mounting rail using
a SHLD terminal.
