Eco-Gateway for PROFIBUS-DP Activating the bus terminating resistor Figure 25: Bus terminating resistor R T 3-12 If the gateway is used as the first or the last station in the bus communication, the fieldbus line has to be terminated using a terminating resistor. The BL20-E-GW-DP allows the activation of the resistors RT using the two last DIP-switches. Note Both DIP-switches have to be in the same position in order to activate or deactivate the bus terminating resistor.
