The boards are fastened using the existing clips within the cars. A different board is provided for each of the 5
intermediate cars. Each board is identified in a way corresponding to the car numbers.
On each board a potentiometer allows an individual brightness setting.
Connecting points for a capacitor (1000 µF 25 V) are provided on the two boards for the end cars.
 
Connection
In one of the end cars, as explained in the train's notice,the board must be connected using the grey and green
wires (or yellow and green). Polarity does not matter here since the board has a rectifier.
 
However it is mandatory to pay attention to the polarity of the wiring between cars. To enforce this point, the
connecting points on the boards have plus(+) and minus(-) markings.
 
Again, it is mandatory to pay attention to the polarity when mounting a capacitor.
 
Current drawn by the whole set varies from 10 mA up to a maximum of 70 mA depending on brightness setting.
