Patrón Spirits recorded impressive growth<br />
of +200% in Asia Pacific duty free last<br />
year. It is currently present in 12 airports<br />
in nine countries in the region, with Kuala<br />
Lumpur being one of the latest. Indeed,<br />
news from the show floor yesterday was that<br />
the Patrón XO Café ultra-premium coffee<br />
liqueur is to be available at Kuala Lumpur<br />
International Airport. Asia Pacific is the<br />
fastest-growing region for Patrón and one<br />
in which it sees significant opportunity.<br />
Year-to-date sales in Asia Pacific are up<br />
+150%, with the addition of new airports<br />
and also a growing portfolio. Patrón XO<br />
Café has also recently been launched<br />
at Singapore Changi Airport, where it is<br />
doing phenomenally well.<br />
John McDonnell, COO, The Patrón Spirits<br />
Company, said: “We are having huge<br />
success with all of the duty free operators<br />
with which we do business.” He added<br />
that Hong Kong, China and Japan present<br />
huge opportunities for Patrón.<br />
