An electronic lockout motor (ELM) inside<br />
the right side stanchion of the fork quickly<br />
locks or unlocks the compression in less<br />
than 0.6 seconds. Activated by an easy<br />
to find soft-touch handlebar-mounted<br />
switch, the ELM is powered by a longlife<br />
Lithium battery and controller (brain)<br />
located in the fork steerer tube.<br />
Battery power is conserved by a vibration<br />
sensor located within the controller.<br />
When it senses no vibration (riding) for 5<br />
minutes, the system automatically goes<br />
into a power-saving mode. As a result,<br />
approximately 50,000 actuations can be<br />
