"Upgrade" is a word we associate with extra performance<br />
at no extra cost to the customer. In fact the EPICON fork<br />
has been upgraded so much that we can no longer refer<br />
to this fork as the "little brother" of the AXON top model.<br />
Built on the 32mm stanchion platform the fork parts are<br />
as lightweight as our cross country forks. The TAD travel<br />
adjuster offers travel from 100mm up to 150mm which<br />
comfortably fits to All Mountain full suspension bikes.<br />
Equipped with the Q-LOC 15mm system the EPICON<br />
accomodates <strong>lighter</strong> wheels without losing stiffness.<br />
The EPICON is a Trans Alp proven fork on climbs as well<br />
as on descents by weighing well under the 1.800g mark.<br />
Whatsmore, the EPICON is also available as 29" version,<br />
equipped with the same features as its 26" colleagues.<br />
The EPICON fork comes with a forged hollow CTS<br />
(conical tapered steerer) crown which saves 35 grams<br />
towards the non-hollow crown. Thus we benefit from<br />
additional stiffness at no extra weight. On the suspension<br />
performance side the EPICON is now available with the<br />
all new, top-end RL-RC and LO-RC cartridges, known from<br />
our World Cup AXON WERX forks.<br />
